Ticket Sales Assistant Fall 2013 Internship
Reports To: Vice President of Ticket Sales

The Normal CornBelters are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to contribute to the overall ticket sales effort of a professional sports organization.
This is a full-time internship position paid on commission, and the individual selected must require an internship for college credit. As a member of the CornBelters Ticket Sales Department, this individual will primarily focus on the sale of all CornBelters ticket packages (including full season tickets, partial season tickets, and various group outings) via telephone and appointment. This individual will not be limited in performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Serving as a liaison between organization and ticket purchasers
* Developing and utilizing a solid knowledge of the sales process (including cold calls)
* Maintaining customer sales database
* Participating in community outreach programs
* Assisting with any off-season sales events
Completed sales, marketing, or communications courses are preferred. Also, proficiency in all basic computer applications is a necessity (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Housing and transportation will not be provided by the organization
