Corporate Partnerships Manager – Normal CornBelters Professional Baseball,LLC.

Department:  Corporate Partnerships Department

Reports to:  Director of Corporate Partnerships

This position requires a highly motivated and personable individual to contribute to the overall corporate sales effort of a professional sports organization. This is a management level position which encompasses active sales in both tickets and advertising opportunities, servicing of corporate contracts and management of departmental intern staff each semester.  As a full-time member of the CornBelters Corporate Partnerships Department, this individual is responsible for focusing on the sale via telephone and follow up face to face appointments. The majority of the sales focus for this position will be on advertising and partnership opportunities within the ballpark.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Utilizing an understanding of the sales process to generate sales from new and current clients
  • Building relationships with new and potential clients
  • Fulfilling contracts for current corporate partners
  • Serving as a representative of the organization to local and national businesses
  • Participating in off-season and in-season sales and community events
  • Training and managing interns of the Corporate Partnerships Department

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including some nights, weekends and holidays
  • Work commitment through the completion of the 2014 season

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Four Year University
  • One year of previous sales experience
  • Developed customer service and interpersonal skills
